Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and IELTS Drill (“we”, “us”), the operator of ieltsdrill.com and app.ieltsdrill.com, based in India. By creating an account, taking a test, or buying credits, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

IELTS Drill provides IELTS-style practice tests with AI-generated marking and feedback. Band scores produced here are estimates for preparation only— they are not official results and carry no weight with universities, employers, or immigration authorities. IELTS is a registered trademark of its owners (the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, and Cambridge University Press & Assessment). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to them in any way.

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
• Give accurate information when registering and keep your credentials to yourself — you are responsible for everything done under your account.
• One account per person. Accounts, and the credits on them, are personal and must not be shared, transferred, or resold.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.

Visitors may take one test as a guest, and every new account’s first test is free. Free tests exist so you can judge the service before paying; creating multiple accounts or otherwise manipulating the service to obtain repeated free tests is a breach of these terms.

• One credit is one test. Each Reading, Listening, Writing, or Speaking test consumes one credit when you submit it. A full four-module mock test consumes four. A test you start but never submit consumes nothing.
• Credits never expire, and there is no subscription — nothing renews or charges automatically.
• Credits are not money. They are a licence to use the service, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash except as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• Prices. Credit packs are priced in Indian Rupees and shown at checkout. We may change pack prices at any time; changes never affect credits you already hold.
• Payment processing.Payments are handled by Razorpay. By paying you also agree to Razorpay’s terms. Credits are added to your account automatically once the payment is confirmed.

Refunds and cancellation are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms.

Use the service for your own exam preparation. You must not:

• share, sell, or transfer your account or credits, or take tests on someone else's behalf as a service;
• copy, scrape, republish, or redistribute test content, questions, or audio;
• probe, overload, disrupt, or attempt to bypass the service's security, rate limits, or payment flow;
• use bots or automation to take tests or to abuse the AI marking, rewriting, or coaching features;
• upload content you have no right to submit, or content that is unlawful or malicious.

You own what you write and record. By submitting it you give us the licence we need to operate the service: to store it, to process it — including sending it to the AI providers that mark it — and to show it back to you in reports. We do not publish your essays or recordings, and we do not use them to train models of our own. How long content is kept is described in the Privacy Policy.

The service — its test materials, audio, software, design, and branding — is owned by us or licensed to us. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for exam preparation and nothing more.

Marking is automated. AI examiners are good but not infallible: a score or a piece of feedback can be wrong, and the same essay can receive slightly different marks on different runs. Do not treat any score here as a promise of your performance on the official exam. If a submitted test fails to produce a report because of a fault on our side, we will re-run the marking or return the credit.

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation — maintenance, outages of the AI providers we depend on, and factors outside our control can interrupt it. We may change or add features at any time. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and refund unused credits.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms — including payment fraud, free-test abuse, or content scraping. For a breach, unused credits may be forfeited to the extent the law allows. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses — including a result on the official IELTS exam — and our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the operator’s registered place of business in India.

We may update these terms; the date at the top reflects the latest version, and significant changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means the updated terms apply.
